Pass rate of 97.8% was the second highest on record
The 2011 A level results in the Island's five secondary schools are amongst the best ever. A record number of students completed A level courses this year. The pass rate of 97.8% was the second highest on record. The number of UCAS points per entry was the 3rd highest ever achieved. The percentage of passes at higher grades A*-B was up on the previous two years.
In the five secondary schools, Year 13 students were entered for over 1370 A levels and more than 220 AS levels in over 40 subjects.
