882 Island residents died on the Isle of Man last year, according to the government.
A Freedom of Information request to the Cabinet Office asked how many Manx people had died, whether here or off-Island.
In its response, the Cabinet Office said 882 deaths were registered on the Isle of Man, where people had an Isle of Man address.
But it added it doesn't have data for death registrations of Manx residents who've died elsewhere.
