A significant amount of heroin and cash was seized from a property in Ramsey yesterday.
Officers from the Pro Active Team and Police Dog Section carried out the operation which led to the arrest of a 46-year-old Ramsey man.
£6000 worth of heroin was seized, a small amount of cannabis resin and £2241 in cash.
The drugs had been sent via the postal system to the male's home address.
Police say they will continue to work closely with the Isle of Man Post Office to stop drugs from entering the Island.
