The Department of Infrastructure says it seized 60 vehicles this year for having no tax, it's been revealed.
A Freedom of Information request to the DOI asked how many seizures it had made and how many fixed penalties it had given out.
In its response, the department said it doesn't issue fixed penalty notices for not displaying tax discs.
But it said 60 vehicles have been seized because they haven't been taxed for more than 30 days.
