Douglas Council are going to change street signs around the centre to mark the capital’s city status.
There are two new sets - one for pedestrian areas and the other for streets and roads used by vehicles.
It’s costing the local authority £5,000 but Leader of the Council Claire Wells says using in house staff to do the designs has kept costs down.
