Man Appears in Court This Morning Charged With Rape
A man has now been charged with rape following on from the alleged assault carried out over the weekend.
The 51 year old man that was arrested over the weekend has now been formally charged with rape and will appear in court this morning.
The attack was carried out in an area of the Douglas beach across the road from the Castle Mona Hotel in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The Police have thanked those who came forward with valuable information but say they think there are still some people out there who could still have valuable information to aid the investigation.
