450 entrants setting off for end to end walk tomorrow morning

The route will take the competitors through Bride, Jurby, Orrisdale, Kirk Michael, Peel, Glen Maye, Dalby and on towards Port Erin, finishing at The Sound.

The end to end walk gets underway tomorrow morning with over 450 entrant set to start at the Point of Ayre, which is the northernmost tip of the island, down the west coast and on to finish at the southernmost tip.

The route will take the competitors through Bride, Jurby, Orrisdale, Kirk Michael, Peel, Glen Maye, Dalby and on towards Port Erin, finishing at The Sound.

Motorists are asked to take extra care on the Roads on Sunday - the walk starts at 8.00am. 

Jock Waddington is last years End to End walk champion and says it's a tough 40 miles but the reward is crossing the finish line.
