Government on Course to Build Most Houses Since 1950s
The Government are on course to have built the most houses
in a ten-year period since the 1950s.
Despite the positive figures however there is still a major backlog of couples waiting to be allocated first time buyer properties.
Social Care Minister Martyn Quayle told 3FM about the ambitious £130 million programme put in place by the Government, designed to help ease the backlog gradually over the next 5 years.
