43 per cent of survey respondents recommend Island for a holiday

Beautiful but criminally expensive to get to - that's the verdict on the Isle of Man as a holiday destination.

Island Global Research surveyed more than 600 people on the Island about Manx holidays.

43 per cent said they'd recommend the Island as a holiday destination - and more than half rated the Island as excellent for its natural environment.

But 20 per cent rated nightlife as poor, while 19 per cent thought eating out on the Island was poor value for money.
