Tens of thousands more trees are set to be planted across the Island.
The Department of Environment, Food & Agrilcuture took delivery of 35,000 of them this week which will be planted across the government's existing forest estate.
Officials say this is in addition to the 85,000 trees received last month for the new woodland being created at Meary Veg, which will be known as the People's Forest.
Preparation work has already taken place at the Meary Veg site for the first nursery beds to be put in the ground.
