It took 35 firefighters to extinguish a huge blaze in the west of the Island this weekend.
On Saturday just before midday, emergency services were told a bonfire had got out of control at the Arrasey Plantation Road in Glen Maye.
Peel and Port Erin fire crews set off to the scene but the fire was so large, they needed further help from Douglas, Castletown and Kirk Michael.
The Fire Service is urging the public to refrain from having bonfires during this dry spell.
