Andreas Commissioners say rates in their area will rise by more than 30 per cent this year.
The board says it's set rates at 188 pence in the pound for the coming year - last year the figure was 144p.
On Facebook, it says the increase will cover cost rises for the Northern Civic Amenity Site and Ramsey Swimming Pool as well as work on streetlighting and the Parish War Memorial.
The 30.5 per cent hike is the highest percentage rise of any local authority so far this year, after Michael announced a 23.6 per cent increase this week.
