The Coastguards arrived at the crucial time as the vessel was underneath cliffs at Groudle in danger of being washed against the rocks.
Douglas Lifeboat were called out yesterday to rescue a small craft that had three passengers on board.
They were responding to a 999 call after one of the passengers had reported they’d broken down North of Douglas unsure of their exact position.
The Coastguards located the vessel underneath cliffs at Groudle close to rocks.
The craft was then towed back into the Douglas by the lifeboat; all three occupants were safe and well.
