3 locals make it onto New Year Honours list

The Isle of Man has three residents who have been recognised on the Queen\'s New Year Honours List.

Edwin 'Eddie' Davies is a well known businessman both on and off Island, he already has an OBE and will now become a CBE for his charitable work. He is perhaps most well known as the owner of Bolton Football Club.

Receiving an MBE will be Cath Christian for her services to the youth in the Isle of Man, she's been involved in major youth projects in Ramsey since 1995.

Elaine Christian will also be receiving an MBE for her services to the community in the field of Criminal Justice.

The recipients will be notified by Buckingham Palace as to when they will have their honours handed down.
