The government says an access road to Braddan's Roundhouse may be open by December.
The Department of Health and Social Care says it's signed an agreement to sell land needed for the route.
Braddan Commissioners paid £250 for the land between Ballaoates Road and the £10 million Roundhouse.
Work on the road is expected to start after the Manx Grand Prix.
