Just over £240,000 has been spent on the LoveIOM card initiative since its launch last year.
That's according to Enterprise Minister Lawrie Hooper, who gave figures in Tynwald.
The cards were to encourage local spending
Mr Hooper confirmed that around 2,500 cards have been sold and over £70,000 has so far been spent at local hospitality businesses through the scheme.
The Department for Enterprise also plans to release data on the number of cards sold and how much money has been loaded onto them at regular intervals to provide 'greater transparency.'
