Businesses which deal with used vehicle batteries have been asked to check their premises to see if they have any missing.
Police found 24 used car batteries in the early hours of Sunday morning and say they are now eager to trace the owner as they believe they’ve been stolen.
Potential owners, or anyone who has more information, is asked to contact Police Headquarters on 631212.
