24/7 traffic lights will be put on a section of the Coast Road at Laxey for several days next week.
The Department of Infrastructure will be in place on the stretch between Ard Reayrt and Minorca Crossroads from Monday (November 11) to Wednesday (November 13) whilst drainage investigation work is carried out.
Officials add this will involve excavating this part of the highway and depending on what the findings are teams may be on the site for longer.
Highways services says it will keep residents informed when updates become available.
