The Department of Infrastructure says it approved almost 230 hours of overtime for staff involved in gritting the roads during the last cold snap.
A Freedom of Information request asked how many days gritters had been out on the Island's roads.
In response, the DOI says planned and reactive gritting happened each day between December 8 and December 12.
During that time, 227.75 hours of overtime were approved for staff.
