A pilot scheme with a near £23-million budget is underway to aid primary education on the Island.
The news was revealed by Treasury Minister, Alf Cannan, in Tynwald on Tuesday.
He says the £22.6-million pot is for the scheme that is being run by the Department of Education, Sports and Culture.
It comes after MHK Julie Edge had quizzed him on priority based budgeting, in particular for the DESC department.
