A man’s appeared in court over allegations he used an imitation firearm to carry out a rape in the south of the Island.
Toby Wood of the Edremony Estate in Port Erin appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes via a live videolink from the prison in Jurby.
The 22 year old denies burgling a house in Castletown Road in Port Erin on October 23, and raping a woman near the Ballamaddrell Estate on November 7.
Mrs Hughes adjourned the case until January 26 and remanded Mr Wood in custody to appear again on that date.
