An Onchan MHK says not only are poles for 20mph signs being put up before the end of a public consultation, they're also being installed incorrectly.
Rob Callister says he's written to Infrastructure Minister Michelle Haywood about the poles in his constituency.
On Facebook, he claims some are obstructing pavements, creating obstacles for prams and people with disabilities.
He says he's asked the minister to confirm the work done by contractors is being verified by the DOI.
