Castletown
could become a 20 miles an hour town.
The Department of Transport has approved a request from the local
commissioners, who want the restriction to apply in all residential areas.
The matter will now go out for consultation.
If the limit became law, it wouldn’t apply to through roads like Victoria Road
and Alexandra Road.
