This year's Southern 100 has been called off.
The occasion had been due to take place from July 12-15, however Directors of the 'friendly races' have decided to cancel them due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
Southern 100 Racing had looked at alternative dates later in the year, however the concern of the Chief Medical Officer was that sufficient medical cover could not be guaranteed later in the year.
However, the 2022 event is currently planned for July 11-14 next year, and officials hope to welcome back competitors and visitors then.
