2021 budget going before Tynwald today

The 2021 budget is expected to be announced during the latest Tynwald sitting today.

Treasury Minister, Alf Cannan MHK, is expected to address members about the plans for the next financial year.

Meanwhile, a busy sitting of the court will see 23 questions for oral response and 28 for written reply for politicans to consider.

Among the topics for discussion will be Covid-19 testing, the 111 service, flood defences and checks on UK-registered vehicles.

The sitting is due to start in Douglas at 10.30am.
