Organisers of a popular motorsport competition on Island have been forced to call off this years event.
The Ramsey Motor Cycle Club (RMCC) has confirmed the 2020 Circuit of Mann - which was due to run on October 24 and 25 - will not be taking place this year due to the ongoing border restrictions around the COVID-19 pandemic.
The organisation says the borders would have to be at Level 1 for people and competitors to move freely on and off-Island - it was confirmed on Thursday by government the border strategy would remain at Level 4 at this time.
RMCC adds whilst it's disappointed the occasion won't be taking place, they're looking forward to 2021 and hope to put on an event for locals on the dates the competition was scheduled to happen.
