The Department of Economic Development says it gave away seven VIP TT tickets this year to the families of riders who lost their lives racing.
A freedom of information request to the department asked how many complimentary tickets had been given out for TT 2017.
In its response, the department said eight tickets were given to the Lieutenant Governor, with another two for the Mayor and Mayoress of Douglas.
Seven MHKs and MLCs were given 20 tickets in total, while no civil servants were given freebies.
