Two students have been picked to travel to Houston, Texas for the working holiday of a lifetime this summer.
Mansat have held their annual competition looking for budding young talent with a keen interest in both space industry and exploration.
It's the fifth time that Mansat have run the competition on the Island, they open it to all Isle of Man Students currently attending any Institute of Higher Education.
The students were asked to write 3 essays, one detailing why space can be of service to humanity, one about how the Island can get more involved and one about why the individual has a particular interest in space.
When out in Houston the students will be working alongside 32 winners from all around the world, with a project to design a mission to Mars.
They will also get to walk around the Space Centre.
One of the winners, Faye Devlin from St Ninians, has said she hopes the experience will open doors to a possible career path for her.
