£2 million is being spent on extra staff to help drive economic growth.
The Department of Economic Development will recruit six people to help pursue business development in five areas.
These include the UK North and countries strategies, high net worth individuals, the visitor economy and marketing in order to raise awareness of the Island.
Minister John Shimmin says the staff will be on temporary contracts:
