2 cases of expected winter vomiting bug Norovirus have been reported on the
The diarrhoea and vomiting virus appears sporadically throughout the winter months when bugs are traditionally harder to kill.
In both instances the cases have been recorded in Nursing Homes suggesting that these are isolated cases in the community.
Anyone who thinks they may the bug are asked to leave it two days after the symptoms have disappeared to return to work, you’re also asked to only contact your GP by telephone and to stay away from hospitals.
