A total of 17 bus stops on Island are set to be modified to increase accessibility.
The Department of Infrastructure says bus-docking kerbs will be installed, meaning the pavement will be raised to make it easier for those with mobility issues to get on and off the bus.
Work on the first two stops will start later this month, which are located on Hailwood Avenue in Douglas.
Temporary bus stop arrangements will be in place while upgrades are underway.
