Crime on the Isle of Man has dropped by 14 per cent in the last year.
Statistics released by the Department of Home Affairs show 1,968 crimes were reported between April 2015 and March 2016:
The figures show a drop below 2,000 for the first time in more than 45 years - the overall crime detection rate also went up by six per cent to 49.6 per cent.
