A local man aiming to run 12 marathons in 12 days has already raised nearly £10,000 for the Children's Hospice.
Ash Humphrey wants to finish the 314-mile "mega marathon" at the finish line of this year's Santa's on a Bike campaign, on Saturday, December 6.
So far the plan.com data analyst has already run five of the marathon distances, or 25 miles (42 kilometres).
