Isle of Man Constabulary arrested 11 people for drink or drug driving over the Easter weekend.
Roads Policing Officers were on patrol looking out for offences such as careless driving, drink driving, and speeding.
Road users who commit those offences are more likely to be involved in a fatal collision.
As well as the drink or drug driving arrests, officers issued 25 endorsable fixed penalty notices and seized 11 vehicles.
