Commonwealth Youth Games 2011 One Year to Go
There is a year until the nations that make up the Commonwealth will descend on the Isle of Man for the Youth Games.
Already, 65 nations have confirmed they will be competing in the biggest sporting event ever hosted by the Isle of Man.
Work is well underway now on the Bowl stadium, which will be the centre piece and host the opening and closing ceremony.
We spoke to organiser Geoff Karran to see how things are progressing; he said there is a lot riding on them getting it right:
Geoff has said the games will be extremely positive coverage for the Island, and with the thousands of people expected over it will be good for the economy also.
