The government says it's spending £1 million of taxpayers' money on a national AI office.
Chief Minister Alf Cannan says the money will be spent to strengthen competitiveness, improve public services and build AI literacy.
Launched today, the office will aim to produce a strategy in its first year and will include expertise from across government organisations.
Mr Cannan announced the new body would be set up last September.
