A report on the latest Criminal Injuries Compensation Scheme will go before Tynwald this month for approval.
Under the scheme anybody who sustained an injury as a result of an act of crime could seek compensation.
Since 2018 over £1.2 million has been awarded to 141 applications.
Of which 58% of claimants were the victims of violent attacks, with the remaining 42% victims of sexual assault.
