Local dentist Tracey Bell has received a Distinction in 'Cosmetic Medicine' from the University of South Wales.
The diploma covered Botox and dermal fillers, male and female hormone therapies and ethics, law and consent.
Tracey is also a Trustee of the JCCP organisation, who campaigns for regulation and education of medical aesthetics.
She says although aesthetic medicine is unregulated, she believes an educational framework, regulation and accountability will be enforced in the near future to protect patients.
