The Gambling Supervision Commission says it's had six applications for medicinal cannabis licences in the first three months they've been available.
In its annual report due to go before Tynwald in April, the commission says it's been overseeing licences for the sector since last summer.
Of the half-dozen applications received between June and September, one was turned down, three were being examined and two were acknowledged.
The body says it's spent £112,752 on the cannabis licensing process so far.
