An historic pub in Castletown has applied for planning permission for a refurbishment.
The George Hotel in Castletown Square says it wants to move its kitchen to the ground floor, and create two new en-suite hotel rooms.
Heron and Brearley, which owns the building, says it also wants to make changes to the ground floor layout.
Because the building is registered, the company's also applied for registered building consent.
