Onchan-based e-Gaming giant Pokerstars says it had a record-breaking day on Sunday, when it gave away more than £30 million in prize money.
The company held a number of events in its Spring Championship of Online Poker on Sunday, with a prize pool of over $39 million for a single day.
It had previously said it would guarantee a pool of $28 million but smashed that figure by 40 per cent.
The total prize pool made it the biggest day ever seen in the online poker industry - the previous record prize pot was set last May at $35 million.
