Businesses are being warned not to fall for a scam which is doing the rounds.
Police say companies have been getting calls from people claiming to be selling adverts in crime prevention leaflets and magazines which are 'endorsed' by the Isle of Man Constabulary.
The constabulary has confirmed it is not involved and no money handed over will benefit it.
People are being warned to be wary and perform internet checks before parting with their cash.
