Paid IT apprenticeship to launch in September

A new paid apprenticeship scheme will be on offer for students who wish to work with top Manx IT companies.

16 MICTA companies are working with the Department of Economic Development and University College Isle of Man to develop a new two-year Digital Apprenticeship Scheme for 23 young people.
 
Starting in September the scheme will combine workplace experience with 31 days classroom work - it will be held at various educational facilities - including a remote soft skills learning program.
