New laws governing working children will mean greater clarity for employers and employees.
That's the message from the Department of Education and Children.
This week Tynwald unanimously agreed the new rules, which raise the age youngsters can enter the workforce to 16 - but lowers the age they can work in nightclubs.
Minister Graham Cregeen said the laws were being brought up to date to protect children and give those employing young people a clear set of rules:
