The government says a new agreement with the UK will simplify National Insurance rules.
Treasury Minister Chris Thomas says the new agreement will replace arrangements which are now almost 50 years old.
It'll mean NI is paid wherever the work takes place, clearing up uncertainty for workers and employers.
Tynwald will be asked to approve the changes when it sits in June.
