The Islands Treasury Minister insists 'help is coming' for businesses trying to limit the impact of the Coronavirus pandemic.
In Tynwald earlier this week, Alf Cannan MHK announced £40million has been added to the Islands contingency fund, a support scheme will offer grants of up to £3,000 for companies in certain sectors, and also sick pay compensation to firms who's employees are signed off to self-isolate.
Mr Cannan now says his department is 'working flat out' to bring more measures to protect workers which are close to being finalised.
He adds he's aware the situation is 'beyond urgent' but emphasises 'we must deliver in the best interests of all'.
