An MHK will be asking Tynwald to review the government catering services to check if they're shopping local.
Ayre and Michael MHK Tim Baker says following some investigation he became concerned that catering services for government departments such as the hospital and schools weren't buying their stock from local producers.
He wants to ensure 'budgeting and procurement policies' appropriately reflect the economic multiplier effects which arise from shopping locally.
