Isle of Man Meats has announced a strategic partnership with one of the UK's biggest suppliers of fresh and frozen meat.
It's linked up with Northgate Foods - who're based in Suffolk - with the goal of being able to significantly increase the market for meat produce from Manx farmers.
Chair of IOM Meats, Tim Baker MHK, says the deal 'represents a huge step forward for the business and the Island's livestock farmers.'
Meanwhile, Northgate Foods Sales and Purchasing Manager, Phillip Woodfield, says the Manx organisations reputation as a supplier of 'high quality, fully traceable products' were just two key factors behind the move.
