Those behind the Island's hyperbaric chamber service are calling for support in raising vital funds for its cause.
The Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) charity says work is underway on finalising specifications on a new chamber to be ordered from manufacturers but more donations are required to make its overall vision a reality.
£102,000 has been generated for the cause so far according to the chambers manager, John Houghton, and says he hopes to see some 'high value funding' from large benefactors they've been in touch with.
The organisation added it wants to be able to get a chamber up and running as soon as possible so the facility can continue its treatments.
