Three members of staff at HSBC have braved the shave to support charities across the Isle of Man, Jersey and Guernsey.
Ali Bond, Cameron Senior and Ciaran Devereaux, all based in Jersey, took on the challenge with £7,500 generated in total which will be split evenly between Isle of Man Foodbank, Salvation Army in Jersey and Guernsey Welfare Service Foodbank.
Director of the Isle of Man foodbank, Jane Mellon, says the money raised will go a long way and will provide at least 30 food parcels for those in need on Manx shores.
In March, HSBC made a global fund available to support the international medical response to the COVID-19 spread, protect vulnerable people and ensure food security around the world.
This formed part of the Channel Island charitable donations with additional funding from HSBC in the islands.
